A cracking Christmas
We feature some great Christmas guest ales that are brewed just for the season along with steaming mulled cider. Mix these with our roaring open fire, our cosy surroundings and our friendly bar team, and we really have a recipe for a fantastic Christmas.
As always, there’ll be a lively and friendly atmosphere full of festive cheer making it the perfect place for your Christmas meal. Our delicious 2 or 3 course menu oozes festive flavours combining all things traditional along with some new and original dishes.
Menu
Our Christmas menu will run from Friday 29th of November to Saturday 21st December 2024 alongside our normal menu.
Booking & Pre order
Booking is required when dining from our Christmas menu along with a pre-order no less than 14 days before the date of your meal. A non refundable £10 per head deposit is required at the point of booking to secure your reservation.
You can complete your pre order online (a link will be emailed to you).
BOOK YOUR TABLE ONLINE (Online reservations for the xmas menu cannot be done within 48 hours of the booking date. If you would like to dine with us from our Christmas menu within this time frame come December then please call us to book your table - 01970 626 191).
Cancellations – Cancellations made before the day of your booking will be covered by the deposit, cancellations made on the day and no shows will be charged at full price (balance minus deposit).
Large Party Bookings
Our online booking system will allow bookings for a maximum of 8 people. If you would like to book for more than this then please give the pub a call on 01970 626 191 to discuss your requirements.
Wines & Champagnes
We will happily suggest some options for wines and champagnes if you would like to organise these in advance of your party, please just ask if you want some help choosing!
Christmas Day - Closed
We are closed on Christmas Day. We feel it’s a special day and time should be spent with family and friends so we give all of our team the day off and let them enjoy it along with everyone else.
