A safe environment for all

We are so happy to be able to open our doors again after being closed for 4 months and get back to doing what we do and love best…..running a cracking pub!  As we reopen, we want to do everything we can to ensure both yours and the safety of our team whilst maintaining the friendly and sociable environment that our pubs always offer.

We are putting in the below measures and ask both our customers and team to play their part in ensuring a safe surrounding for all:

Hand Sanitising

We are asking all customers to sanitise their hands upon arrival to the pub and all of team are washing and sanitising their hands regularly.

Social Distancing

We ask all customers and our team members to practise safe social distancing and to please be courteous to others in tight spaces around the pub. We have reduced the number of tables and seats to ensure safer distances between tables and diners.

One Way System

There is a one way system in operation at the pub for entering and leaving the building and we ask that customers adhere to this as much as possible.

Regular Cleaning

Our team are regularly cleaning and sanitising “touch areas” around the pub every 30 minutes as well as regular cleaning of our toilets.

Seated Service Inside & Outside and Queueing

We are offering seated service Inside and Outside only to start with.  Please wait to be seated upon arrival and we ask that you do not approach the bar, your server will come to you.  For those without a reservation we do offer a number of walk-in tables for drinks and dining, however you may need to queue if these are full at busy times.

Please Arrive On Time For Your Booking

We request that you do not arrive more than 5 minutes ahead of your booking time as we do not have extra seating available nor is standing at the bar permitted.

Single Use Menus

Our menus will be single use for each customer and will be recycled after.

Track and Trace

Your booking details will be used for Track and Trace should they be needed however if you come along without a reservation then we’ll ask for your details on arrival.

Reduced Contact

As much as we love interaction with each other, at the moment we need to try and limit this as much as possible so we encourage contactless/card payments.

Staff Health Checks

Staff will undertake temperature and health checks upon arrival for their shift to ensure they are fit to work.  It is the individual choice of the staff member whether they choose to wear a protective face visor or not.

Enjoy A Safe Stay

Our guests can rest assured that we are doing everything we can to provide a safe and relaxing stay.  In addition to the above measures, we are also introducing the following operating procedures in our accommodation:

Deep Cleaning and Sanitising of Bedrooms

All of our bedrooms receive a deep clean and full sanitisation upon check out of each guest.

Daily Room Service

You will be asked upon arrival if you want your room servicing on a daily basis or if you would rather not have housekeeping enter your room during your stay.

Digital Guest Folder

We have digitised our guest information folder which you can access online.

Breakfast

We ask guests to book a time slot for breakfast to ensure social distancing. These are available at 15-minute intervals from 07:30 to 09:00 Monday to Friday and 8.30am until 10am Saturday & Sunday. You will be asked to book your breakfast slot upon check in.

Our usual breakfast buffet is not available to guests but items are available upon request from your server.
