We can’t believe that May has come around so quickly! Where has the last 12 months gone?! Each year, over the last May bank holiday weekend, we host our Local Beer Festival which this year will be in its 5th year as well as our Annual Charity Raft Race so it must mean that it is time to start thinking about building your raft!!
It is a great weekend down at the Glengower with three days of real ales and ciders taking over the bar. With beer from near and far it showcases some fantastic ales that local breweries and micro breweries are creating as well as some further affield tipples.
The beer festival will run over the May bank holiday weekend from Friday 26th May through to Monday 29th May. The format will be the same as the last four years with up to 16 beers on at any one point and a number of different ciders on as well. It is always great to get so many local Welsh ales at the pub for people to try.
Our annual charity raft race will be taking place on Sunday 28th May at 2pm. It is always a fantastic day with so much support and its always fantastic to see so many people getting involved. It’s just a bit of fun so why not get together with some friends from work, university, the pub and enter yourselves as a team in this year’s raft race.
